Coaching Philosophies
Don't complicate greatness!
Triple Threat Play
Play Fast Not Rushed
The Standard is the Standard
Account for your Potential
The game of lacrosse is not complicated. It is quite simple, we will focus on making sure that we do not complicate the simple. There is not secret to getting better, the secret is doing the proper movements consistently great time after time, for as many times as it takes. To do this we need to keep the stick in a threatening position all the time, and we want to play as fast as we can, but not be rushed. You will build these habits by being great with your repeated behavior, time after time. Having someone hold you accountable is paramount, and you must learn to hold yourself accountable.
Recruiting Philosophies
Make Lacrosse the Icing on the Cake
Find the Place Where All of You Can Grow
Culture is Behavior
Transformational vs. Transactional
Ball where you can Ball
After recruiting young men to play collegiate lacrosse for over 20 years, the one thing that sticks out the most is to be sure you find the "right" fit. To do this you need to know yourself, and allow those that know you the best help find your home. Making sure that lacrosse has its proper place in your search is paramount. This is about your growing to reach your ultimate potential, and finding the right culture and coach for you is essential for this. It is also very important to know where you can attack your goals the best, by being honest with your level of play. Ultimately, we want this to be a 40 year decision, not a 4 year decision.
